Fredric Bauer is an Associate Senior Lecturer in Technology and Society at Lund University, Sweden. His research is focused on low-carbon innovation and development in energy and emissions intensive industries. He has conducted extensive research on primarily the plastics and chemicals industries, published in international journals and co-authored the book Decarbonising Economies published by Cambridge University Press. He was also a contributing author to the IPCC AR6 Working Group III report chapter on industry. He has a PhD from Lund University.
